At Wolf Ranch: A Montana Men Novel

At Wolf Ranch: A Montana Men Novel - Jennifer Ryan I have seen this book around, and seen wonderful reviews of it. So when I got a chance to read it, of course I jumped at the chance. And it was sooo good. I am so glad that I got a chance to read it. I mean, the book starts with these stereotypical characters, but then the author gives each one this subtle twist, and suddenly you realize that they aren't who you thought they were. It was masterfully done. I kept being pleasantly surprised by reactions to situations and obstacles in the story.

Ella Wolf is running for her life. Her uncle thinks she is just some party girl, stumbling through her glamorous life, doing the minimum to get by. When she has a front row seat to his cold blooded murder of her twin sister, she has to prove him wrong... or she is next.

Gabe Bowen sunk everything he had into his deal to buy Wolf Ranch. Yet when Ella shows up and opens his eyes to the truth about the deal he had made with her uncle, he doesn't hesitate to offer her help. There was a lot of chemistry between these two, but what I really liked was their openness and honesty with each other.

The perfect mix of action, suspense, and romance, all set in Montana cowboy country. I really enjoyed this and am wondering why I haven't discovered Jennifer Ryan before now. I am giving this 5 stars.

Thank you to Tasty Book Tours and Avon Books for the opportunity to read and review this book.
